When I was 13 I met this really cool older man named Tony (I think he was, like 15). He was working for his brother in the apartment complex I lived in doing odd maintenance jobs. I used to tag along with him, and try and help him, although I’m sure I was just making his job harder. He was just this really cool guy, ya know? So, during my 14th year, my life became distorted and incredibly upside down and during this time, we lost track of each other. About a year ago or maybe a year in a half, Tony found me. Incredible really! We write e-mails now and then and we are both really glad that we got back in touch because it felt like a crazy loose end to both of us. It really sucks to lose track of someone you cared about and not know what happened to them. Well, last Christmas, he sent me a box filled with music cd’s he made for me and a cd player and headphones and even batteries…because he thought of everything (that wasn’t the first gift he sent me either)! I couldn’t believe it! It was an amazing present. Today, just now, I got another box in the mail…holy fricken sheit!!! 25 MORE CD’S!!!!!! Tony…You Fucking Rock! I have enough music now to last a decade! Dude, Pink! Rush! Journey! ALL the 80’s billboard hits!!!! I can’t thank you enough!!! I wanted to thank you LOUDLY, and if I go outside and scream "THANK YOU TONY!" I don’t think you would hear me – so I am saying it here! You really are a great friend….and not because you give me stuff!
Now…I totally have to listen to some awesome music. Virginia, if you were at work today you would be like, "Holy Shit! What do we listen to first?" and I would say, "Journey, helloooooo." And then she would smack me in the back of the head (she is not all that fond of Journey and likes to torture me with Johnny Cash).
